147, 168, 000 minutes... 274,000 hours... 10,220 days... 336 months... 28 years. A time well spent in building God’s Kingdom, of enduring the pains and enjoying the blessings. For 28 years Victory Church has stood the tests of time and countered different struggles. And as the adage above states Victory Church has seized every moment of its existence to fulfil its mission and vision.
A time well spent in building not just a mere fellowship but a family as well. Victory Church is not just an abstract concept of fellowship but a living a force. We have grown to be not just a church but a community of shared person-hood, a collective consciousness that has burned bright for 28 years. Others have met their better half through the guidance of the fellowship. Started their family and raised their kids with the advice of its pastors. And as they mature in their spiritual life have answered the call to WIN, BUILD and SEND and are now pastoring and planting new churches.
But as time passed by, others left and took a different path. There are people who we used to work with that we no longer see, no longer talk to, no longer bear our burden with. But as a great man once said Division is always a part of multiplication. It is a sign of revival. Like Gold we have to moulded and tempered through fire in order to be purified. Nonetheless, be assured that God will continue to raise up men and women who will build His Kingdom and continue the legacy of Victory Church and fulfil His mandate.
We have come this far for a great reason. We have a destiny, a predetermined course that is beyond human power or control. The fire started in Mandaluyong, and then in Cubao and now in every key city wherein the fire shines brightest because Victory Church exists.
Now let the words go forth from this time and place that the torch will be passed on to the next generation! Tempered by faith, disciplined by grace and fortified by salvation, let every nation know that we will pay any price, meet any hardships, support any friends and oppose any hindrance to ensure the survival and success of the God-given vision to Victory Church!
